Blossoms will run away -
Cakes reign but a Day.

Linda Thorson

Here is a song performed by the renowned jazz singer Maureen McGovern, chosen to enhance the beauty and charm of Linda Thorson.
Maureen made history in 1975 as the first singer to have recorded and introduced two Oscar nominated songs in the same year, "We May Never Love Like This Again", and "Wherever Love Takes Me" from the movie "Gold".
Linda Thorson (born in 1947 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian actress on TV and films, mostly in the UK and USA. She is best remembered for her role as Tara King (succeeding Diana Rigg) in the last two seasons of the British TV adventure series "The Avengers", with the original star Patrick Macnee. She was a trained dancer and an alumnus of London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. She had previously won speaking and singing honors while in school, and was well on her way to a prestigious stage career when she was selected from a field of 200 actresses to play Tara King. Since then, she appeared in character roles on stage and in many TV series and films, including "Valentino" (1977), "Return of the Saint", "The Greek Tycoon" (1979) and "Sweet Liberty" (1986). She also appeared in an episode of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" in the early 1990's. Linda Thorson currently appears in the popular UK soap opera "Emmerdale", playing the scheming millionairess Rosemary Sinclair. Also a singer, she has recorded a couple of singles.
Enjoy Linda's funny sunny face!
